what we are all about

about us

We all recognize that the complexity of Kitchen & Bath product selection, design and installation requires very specific knowledge and expertise.  Exquisite Kitchen Designs LLC offers an experienced and capable staff to design, install, and manage the remodeling project.  Every kitchen remodel is more than designing and installing cabinetry.  They are a comprehensive remodeling project requiring electrical, appliance, plumbing, tile & flooring, lighting, countertops and in many cases structural modifications such as opening up or altering the home’s floor plan.  Through our network of subcontractors, we will oversee and manage the project.  We are a complete remodeling solution for the client from start to finish.

Tammy's interior design career began 15 years ago after she earned her BA in Interior Design. She worked with industry experts for years, developing expertise in kitchen and home design, specializing in cabinetry and window treatments. Tammy joined the Exquisite Kitchen Designs team in 2017.

Tammy loves textiles, patterns (especially geometric ones), and mixing unexpected materials for a new spin. When Tammy isn’t bringing clients’ kitchen and bath dreams to life, she’s kayaking, snowboarding, or enjoying live music.

We are a local South Lyon business that focuses on decorating your kitchen or bath with characteristics that describe you. We love to mix styles like modern and classic or industrial meets farmhouse to give you a design that complements your lifestyle and interests.

Choosing the perfect palette for your kitchen and bath décor can be intimidating. We’ll make the process easy and fun!

We aren’t feng shui experts, but we know how to design a room that maximizes and compliments your lifestyle and budget.

Marsha graduated from South Lyon High and then went on to study interior design at Eastern Michigan University.  While attending school, Marsha snagged a job specializing in residential bathroom design.  Upon graduation, she was designing residential kitchens and selling appliances.

Owning a small business was an exciting opportunity when Marsha saw South Lyon and the surrounding area was in need of more options and expertise. Marsha took a leap of faith and started the business from her kitchen table with no more than a laptop, a software program, and a desire to be a part of what we all lovingly call, "The American Dream".

When she's not running the business, Marsha can be found at baseball and soccer games with her three young children.
